The PC muscle that can be found within the body is important to not only men, but to women as well when it comes to good physical and sexual health. This particular muscle is formed in the shape that is similar to a hammock and it is the muscle that serves as a floor to the pelvic cavity. The PC muscle serves in a group of muscle within the body that are known as levator ani, and it runs from the pubic bone all the way to the tail bone or coccyx. The job of this specific muscle is to help control urine flow within the body and when a person is experiencing an orgasm, this muscle contracts. The PC muscle also plays an important role during the delivery of a baby. There are often times that individuals end up suffering from problems such as urinary incontinence if the PC muscle is not very strong and in good operating order.

Another problem that can occur when this muscle is not in good condition is the proper positioning of a baby’s head when the baby is about to be delivered through the natural process of childbirth.
