In a sense, the answer is yes. When a person is not careful in selecting partners that they are sexually active with, it can often end up with a life sentence of dealing with various types of sexually transmitted diseases. This of course can ultimately cause a devastating impact on an individual’s physical health and their sexual health. To most people the answer seems easy – simply use protection such as a condom. Although this type of protection can keep many people from acquiring various types of STDs, the fact of the matter is that more often than not, most people either forget to use them, or they disregard their use when they are in the middle of the heat of passion. Ignorance is never an excuse when it comes to serious diseases that a person can come in contact with simply because they have not taken appropriate measures of protection.
