Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and pregnancy has become some very serious problems among young individuals that are in their teenage years of life. There are a variety of reasons why this type of serious problem is occurring among a large number of our teenage population, and some of the most common reasons are listed below.
- A lack of being educated on the various types of sexually transmitted diseases that can occur. This would include important detailed information that involves the ways that each type of STD can be acquired, the symptoms that each STD can cause, the process that is required for an adequate diagnosis and the various types of treatment options that may be available for STDs.
- The feeling of being invincible, as if a sexually transmitted disease or pregnancy could not possibly happen to them.
